1.The Rua Red is the South Dublin's hub for creative activity. Rua Red is a contemporary art space housing two galleries, a theatre/cinema, a dance studio, a conference room, a digital media suite, recording facilities, music rooms, workshop areas, artist's studios, office space and a café. Rua Red is proudly supported by South Dublin County Council & The Arts Council.  Rua red is using various types of digital media. These are: user friendly website- www.ruared.ie, TwitterFacebook and Instagram social media platforms.

2. Rua Red is uses they social media platforms to advertise and update their audience with any upcoming events, workshops, screenings and performances that allow audiences and visitors to engage with the exhibitions through the mediums of music, dance, theatre and visual art. They also announce any new residents in the Rua Red, just like this one on Facebook:

The social media comes to help find new staff, so it serves a hiring/recruitment function just like in this post here:

 

Rua Red is also a home for multinational festivals, just like this one coming up  here: 


 Rua Red promotes all the events happening, follows and retweets the posts of the residents of Rua Red and what's going on in the local area. In this way they bring community together, inspire for creativity. They give a chance for small start up creative people starting they classes both for children and adults alike. Rua Red also gives a chance to showcase performances, visual pieces of art, musical and other creative creations.

And lastly by doing the social media they have a chance of catching attention of international artists and get them to come and showcase here and collaborate with Rua Red.



3. Rua Red has grown significantly, from the opening day early in year 2009 up until now, they have become the biggest art Centre in the whole South County Dublin. Started with opening the Twitter account from the very beginning in December 2008, they gradually continued growth in they Social Media, with creating the Facebook page, that has grown now to their most followed social media account. And then also added an Instagram page to their social media family in year 2015. In year 2017 Rua Red embarked on a new high profile International Exhibition Programme and surrounding Education & Outreach Programme. It focuses on the importance of People, Politics and Place.
