Today we started our conversation about ChatGPT, it is taking up the internet by a storm. So what exactly is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT (generative pre-trained transformer) is an AI chatbot system that interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.
It is becoming more and more popular every day. Brian was going to try it out in the class, but couldn't connect during our class. But he told us about his experience with ChatGPT. He had a chat, asking some questions, and when the conversation was over he said 73__... ...__(seventythrees) it's the way that Radio people would say bye, finishing talk etc. It was so strange, but the ChatGPT knew what it meant and answered to Brian in the same way. I'm so curios to try it myself. I'm sure we will revisit this topic again during our course.

Podcast vs Radio interview
Next we talked about difference between podcasts and Radio interviews. Just a couple points Brian said, that the podcasts are more friendlier than radio interviews. Radio interviews normally have their time slots, so they are more restricted by time. Radio interviews are more censored(no bad language allowed). Where the podcasts can be more free, can be longer & in general more natural way of conversation. One of the main advantages of podcasts is that the listeners can stream at their own convenience or download and listen later. Teacher Brian suggested to watch a film "Talk Radio" by Oliver Stone.

Creating storyboard
We also watched a video about behind the scenes of making a short film about the "First Dance" where it shows how easy it is to do a storyboard by using a free app- Storyboard Animator app.
Before the start of our class, our teacher Brian did an experiment, to see which Social Media platform would be most effective. He posted asked his followers to give one piece of advice to us, his Social Media students. And out of all, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn & Facebook, Facebook turned out to be a winner, there were more views and more comment (advises given). There were 10 comments in 1 hour on Facebook. I find it's a great way of finding out where you possible get bigger audiences, views and interaction. I would suggest doing a Facebook, as it is still the biggest social media platform and and it proves to be most effective also by our teachers test.
I asked my followers across social media to give my students 1 piece of advice - here is how well the channels responded after 6 hours (comment count)
5 Twitter post 3 LinkedIn post 1 Instagram story 31 Facebook post - WINNER!
-Authenticity and honesty shine through your posts and are hugely valued by your readers.
-Personalise and less is more.
-Interaction has to be more then just selling something
Anatomy of the perfect Social Media post.
We talked about the most important things that need to be in any Social Media post. Check this Convert with Content website for more info.
Few main points from Brian:
Headline.<title> Brian's page</title> code for a headline. Pick a very good headline, because it's the headline that sells, good headline grabs people's attention.
Line breaks. In line breaks, keep your post as short as possible, down to the point.
Linking out is good way of boosting your post(you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours).
Don't be afraid to ask in public(social media)
Virtual signalling is the expression of a moral viewpoint with the intent of communicating good character. In this way you can get support. For example in the post show the load of cardboard boxes that are after coming in, ask to come and get some. 😏 but keep the post real and honest.
Then we had a task to create a post about something we are passioned about. As I always was into healthy eating and trying out new healthy balanced food recipes, I did a post about 10 most healthy foods. See the next post.
Tall head, long tail
We looked at the concept of "tall head, long tail" see picture below:
We don't have to be in the "tall head" part to be successful, as now the long tail has extended so much, that it is very much about niche. Find your niche in what you do and you can be very successful.
We also watched video where Alexis Ohanian of Reddit on Ted talk about:
How to make a splash in social media
Hidden password
What to do if our password is saved, but there is no 'reveal eye' button beside for you to see. Right click on password→then write <text>→and hooray the password is revealed for you. Tried and tested, it works! 👏 see below-
Phonto app
Our teacher recommended to us to use the app called Phonto. It is the app he uses himself on the pictures he posts on social media. This photo editing app that allows you to add text on photos. It is very easy to use, so I gave it a try.
Few things about Twitter
For you- under this tab algorithm will decide what you see there.
Following- under this tab you will see only posts from people you have followed.

Explore(#)-find what's on now.
